Storied Oak: Looking Back On Our Roots

I was honoured to have my design selected by VanCity, and Awarded the commission for their Hastings Branch in Vancouver. This installation is 8.5’ x 8.5’ and is comprised of more than 200 hand formed and fired clay pieces.

The sculpture features three main photographic collections capturing pieces of Vancouver’s history. The most well know collection was photographed by Vancouver’s street photographer, Foncie Pulice.
